Job description
-Manage to oversee the work of subordinate staff contact architects or Engineers.
-Prepare plans, details, specified, and cost estimated of plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and general piping system.
-Provide technical advice to staff designer, supervisor, inspector, and contracting service provider, regarding installation and maintenance of MEP System.
-Manage the day-to-day work of the MEP team.
-Advise on all issues regarding LEED and ensure that the appropriate documentation and information is provided to the appropriate authorities to obtain the LEED standard required on the project.
-Review contractor’s MEP shop drawing in conjunction with the structural and electrical engineers to ensure engineering coordination.
-Witness on-site piped system pressure test, air conditioning duct leakage testing, and other testing that may be required during the first fix works.
-Weekly site progress review, Meeting with project vendors/contractors and project engineer/manager to resolve the RFI (within a time frame) as and when raised from the site team.
-Generating Project-specific quality assurance plan for MEP work, shop floor drawings, MEP coordination drawings, MEP builder works drawings, IBM’s containment layouts, materials submittals, and work programs.
-Looking after mechanical activities which include the revival of engineering drawings & BOQ preparation.
SKill Required:
-Experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage and Fire-Fighting related residential project execution.
-Should be capable of doing heat load, pump head, External Static Pressure calculations, understanding drawings.
-Must be experienced on testing/commissioning of HVAC systems especially air balancing, water balancing and generating various reports.
-Reviewing erection & commissioning of entire MEP (Mechanical Installation Works like) HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, Gas & –Compressor Piping, Water Treatment System, ETP & STP, CC TV, Access Control and IBMS.
-Good understanding of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and low-voltage systems.
-General understanding of Building Codes, Mechanical Codes, Electrical Codes and Plumbing Codes as they relate to construction of projects.
-Knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD and Project management software QSBoq.
